Bourbon Balls

PREP TIME: 30 minutes

SERVES: 6

YOU’LL NEED:

  • 1/3-1/2 cup Jeptha Creed Bloody Butcher’s Creed 6-Month Whiskey
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ½ cup finely chopped pecans
  • Bittersweet chocolate for dipping
  • Pecan halves for garnish

PREP:

Cover the chopped pecans with whiskey and allow to sit overnight. In a mixer add powdered sugar, soaked pecans and butter then mix well until a soft dough forms. Scoop with a truffle scoop, roll and refrigerate. Melt chocolate
over a double boiler and dip the chilled bourbon balls. Top then immediately with a pecan, let sit until set up. Enjoy!
