Job Description:

Our Tour Lead is responsible for executing outstanding guest experiences and building strong advocates of our Jeptha Creed brand! This leader fulfills guest experiences by illustrating distinguished knowledge of our distilling process, having a passion for our products, and sharing the provenance of our creed. Our Tour Lead is responsible for guaranteeing a memorable experience for all our guests by presenting remarkable customer service and performing flawless organization. Jeptha’s Tour lead is responsible for assisting leadership in training and coaching all tourism staff in exceeding tour standards. The Tour Lead will report directly to Jeptha Creed’s Tour & Retail Manager.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Innovate and Lead our Tour Experiences! With a primary focus on our Premium Experiences.
  • Engage and connect with guests- educating on bourbon history and all things Jeptha Creed! Focusing on the ownership background, spirit portfolio, and company story.
  • Engage and Connect team members to lead associates to successful daily operations, create a productive and positive work environment, and set customer service standards for front-of-house staff.
  • Targeting to exceed company goals, standards, and policies.
  • Partner with management to execute proper staff training for Jeptha Creed’s tour and retail experiences.
  • Complete sales transactions by checking out guests through our point of sales system, providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent Time Management- prioritizing responsibilities and schedule efficiently by maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organization. Able to adapt to changes.
  • Perform opening and closing Front of House duties.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Assist in duties with the outlying departments when directed and needed.

Skills and Experience

  • Must have exceptional customer service skills, be outgoing and engaging, be personable, and be able to articulate the family’s story.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills; a notable candidate will be very comfortable speaking/presenting to large groups.
  • Desire to learn the bourbon industry and build relationships with staff, guests, and business partners.
  • Resilient Work Ethic and Time Management skills, Strong Team Player
  • Microsoft Office Experience
  • Must be comfortable to drive a Shuttle Bus
  • Be able to stand or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Weekends and some holidays are required.
  • Strong knowledge of the craft distilling industry (including cocktails, wine, and beer) is a plus.
  • Previous retail and mixology experience is a plus.
  • Previous tour guide experience is required.
  • Previous Theater/Acting experience is helpful.

Jeptha Creed Distillery is looking for a Bar and Kitchen Associate! As a Bar & Kitchen Associate, you will be essential in delivering outstanding food service and maintaining high food safety and preparation standards. Reporting to the kitchen manager, your core skills in food handling and restaurant experience will ensure efficient operations. Your premium cooking and knife skills will enhance meal preparation, while your relevant catering experience will support our diverse menu offerings. Join our team to contribute to a vibrant dining atmosphere and help create memorable experiences for our guests.
Job Responsibilities:
-Weekends required
-Assist in Bar and Kitchen Vendor Orders

Our Tour Host lead a fulfilling experience by illustrating knowledge of our distilling process, having passion for our products and share the provenance of our creed.  It is the responsibility of our tour host to guarantee a memorable experience to all of our guest by presenting remarkable customer service.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct sprit tasting experiences and review Jeptha Creed’s spirit portfolio
  • Engage with guests and educate them on our family’s background; and the history of our bourbon and other spirits created here at Jeptha Creed
  • Complete sales transactions by checking out guests through our point of sales system
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness with tasting experiences
  • Perform opening and closing front of house duties.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
  • Assist in all departments at the distillery, as needed

Job Description

 Jeptha Creed Distillery is looking for an experienced bartender for a part-time position. Our bartenders boost visitor center proficiency, make suggestions for purchases, and create a memorable experience for visitors.

JC bartenders will partner with management, tour guides, distillers, and other team members to form an irresistible winning team. Successful applicants must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs., have strong communication skills, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and ability and willingness to work. This is a part-time position, an average of 25-30 hours per week. Customer service/bar and or serving experience required.

Essential Functions of the position

  • Efficiently and professionally create cocktails for distillery guests
  • Perform opening/closing duties
  • Engage guests by discussing Jeptha Creed product knowledge
  • Direct tastings by educating guests about our spirits portfolio
  • Handle sales transactions and check-out through the cash register system.
  • Ensure cleanliness at all times
  • Answer questions from our guests with fact-based information

Desired Skills and Experience
