Quick and easy pasta recipes for Italian style dinner at home!
MIXOLOGY LEVEL: Easy
PREP TIME: 20 minutes
YOU’LL NEED:
1 tablespoon butter
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 shallot minced
1 cup of Jeptha Creed Original Vodka
1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan
16 ounces of cooked penne pasta
PREP:
Melt butter in a large skillet. Saute garlic and shallots together for 4 minutes. Slowly add the vodka to the pan. Reduce the vodka by half, around 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes. Salt and Pepper to taste. Add the cream and parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the cream is incorporated into the sauce. Remove the pan from heat. Toss the sauce and pasta together. Serve warm and garnished with fresh basil. Serves 2-4.
