Blackberry Moonshine Meatballs

A great appetizer for any event you’re hosting!  Easily scale the recipe up for larger groups or toss in a crockpot instead of cooking on a stovetop!

PREP TIME: 20 minutes

SERVES: 3-4

YOU’LL NEED:

  • ¼ cup Jeptha Creed Blackberry Moonshine
  • 4 tablespoons blackberry jam
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon lime juice
  • Dash of black pepper
  • 16 ounces frozen meatballs (thawed)

PREP:

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine moonshine, jam, brown sugar, lime juice, and pepper. Stir until no lumps are visible.

In a medium saucepan, pour the moonshine mixture over the thawed meatballs and cook over medium-high heat for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The sauce should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon and hold a line when you draw your finger through it. Serve warm as an entree or as an appetizer.
