The weather is getting colder, the leaves have fallen off the trees, and our cornfields have been harvested for the season. It’s nearing wintertime, and we’re warming ourselves with a brand-new winter bar menu from our food and beverage manager, Jonathan Exum.
We will be featuring two warm (and warming) cocktails: the Blackberry Gluhwein, which blends Jeptha Creed Blackberry Moonshine, Mulled Spiced Wine, and Simple Syrup; and the Tom and Jerry, a delicious mix of Jeptha Creed Cinnamon Moonshine, Amaretto, Milk, Warming Spices, and Tom & Jerry Batter.
The “Holiday Sweet” section of the menu is sure to put you in the spirit, with decadent treats like the Pumpkintini, the Apple Pie Shakeup, and the Blueberry Pie.
For something lighter, try a refreshing infusion of seasonal flavors in the Grapple Cider Soda, which calls for Jeptha Creed Apple Flavored Vodka, Muddled Eshelman Grapes, Simple Syrup, Wesman’s Cider, and Soda Water.
The “Spicy” section of the new menu calls on punchy ingredients to warm you up from the inside. For example, the Kimchi Bloody Mary uses Jeptha Creed Hot Pepper Flavored Vodka, Jeptha Creed Bloody Mary Mix, Kimchi Puree, Bourbon Barrel Soy Sauce, and Pickled Ginger.
